Posted September 21, 2012 During a conversation with a nice gent the other day, he mentioned that he was interested in meeting several ladies off of escortboards.net but that they always seem to be "OFF" and therefore, he has not called them. I asked him what he meant when he said they were all "OFF" and he proceeded to explain that next to the ladies' ads there is a column that shows how many people "have answered their ad" and another column that shows when the lady is "OFF." I did my best to explain to him that the numbers in the one column do NOT represent how many people have answered her ad (but rather how many times the ad was viewed...big difference); and that the "OFF" simply means that the lady chooses to not display the # of times her ad has been viewed. He was quite relieved in knowing that he can proceed to contact the handful of providers whom he has misunderstood to have been "OFF" that past few months LOL! I'm wondering how many others are unsure as to what those numbers and terms represent. I know there are days that my ad has been viewed over 200 times, yet I have made only 2 appointments...clearly demonstrating that the high number of views does not necessarily mean I am booked.
