The cliche gum-chewing hooker with the "new joisey" twang and poor vocabulary would probably not be considered sophistcated by most.....but she might surprise you behind closed doors by displaying many of the attributes mentioned by Velvet above. Posted August 4, 2012 I don't know that I would use this as "my" definition of sophistication...but I'm much more interested in knowing people with these attributes than someone I'd consider to be sophisticated. Someone who's presence makes me happy, someone who's fun to be with...will trump "sophisticated" every day of the week...and three times on Sunday. JME Then again, I don't know if I care about being "sophisticated". I'd rather have fun. I enjoy good food, but I'd rather go camping/fishing/hiking then listen to the opera. I'd rather bum around in hostels meeting new people then keeping up with fashion. I don't think I have good taste either lol. Sophisticated is probably never a word anyone would use to describe me.
