Why Do You Hobby?

38 posts in this topic

Sex. If I meet somebody I like that is great, but I am only going to see her for sex. If I feel a connection with her it is better and makes the sex better. I have lots of women friends to talk to or whatever. I just don't have sex with them.

For me, two primary reasons:

1. I'm busy with my career, and accordingly haven't had much time to date.

2. It allows me a chance for "intimacy" with women with whom I otherwise would have NO shot in the "real world".

i'm middle aged and married 25 years. my hobbying started years ago when my wife became a severe alcoholic so the sex wasn't frequent or fulfilling. my reason honestly wasn't as much about the pure act itself (i agree with womanlover on the porn thing) but to connect with a special woman and have the opportunity, however brief, to fill the void in a life that lacked being able to genuinely express tender affection and be truly romantic. fortunately, i've met a wonderful provider here and clicked, which i'm so grateful for. it's once again made me the happy guy i used to be. my senses are keener: food tastes better, flowers smell better, i appreciate the beauty of the world around me. it feels like the days of my youth when i was infatuated with a girl - that giddy feeling you get when you have a crush on someone.

Marriage is about the most expensive way for the average man to get laundry done.

That's why men should be self sufficient and not look at a wife as the chief cook and bottle washer. Just kidding dude...;).

Marriage IMHO, can ruin a perfectly good relationship. But so can apathy..on both parts married or not.

I don't agree with this. a man should be self sufficient to avoid the need to get married. if I do get married again and she tries doing my laundry,

there will be trouble! I like my laundry done just right.:D

because I don't have to say a fucking word if I don't want to. Or I can take all the time to talk. Oh yeah, sex is quite important as well LOL
