I paid for an ad on Tuesday (using bitcoin/cashapp) and it still hasn't gone through here. Do any other providers have experience with this? I did message admin, but it's a holiday, so obviously don't expect an urgent reply. I'd really love to be able to post an ad before my Longmont mini tour next week, so hoping there's a quick fix. It almost seems glitchy at times when you see the same name posted like 5 times in a row. And I honestly don't understand how that works because when I go in to edit my listings and re-post them to save them, it deletes my prior listing from the board. I have zero problem with people bumping ads to stay at the top, but it would be cool if the newest ad, deleted the old ones (like it does with mine). That way you get more ads for different providers on each page.

Many self-employed people expect deposits without a contract. Their reputation is the assurance needed to justify the deposit- tattoos artists, massage therapists, photographers, estheticians, and escorts are just a quick list off the top of my head. Within each industry, there are obviously those who do not require deposits, and that's their perogative, but nobody talks shit about a tattoo artist or photographer requiring a deposit. You get to sex work and suddenly people are all up in arms about how someone wants to run their business. As you said, to each their own. If someone doesn't want to pay a deposit, there are plenty of providers they can find who will still see them. No need to throw shade on providers who do require deposits. 🤷‍♀️
