  1. What's Must-See in Mile-High City?

Okay, you guys are awesome! *grin* Coming in from Indy, we do okay on the museum aspect...but I do have a serious love for Botanical Gardens, so that's on the list. Same for the museums - I'm in the Field Museum in Chicago every chance I get, so how does the Nature/History museum stack on that front? Red Rocks I've heard of - some of my climbing buddies have serious love for the place - but Sloan's Lake sounds like a great little aside. Add in Burlesque and some Jazz and I can see why the city is such a hit. So...what about food? I have a special love for breakfast joints that don't close up shop at noon - any of you deviants have recommendations on that front? (and thank you all so much for the suggestions! I'm loving hearing the local side of things)
  2. Are men curvy?

I'm not sure if curvy guys are my bag....but I do love me some husky/chubby/stocky ones. Like, I've got a serious thing for the big farm boy / football player gone to seed / powerlifter look - it's not so much about being ripped as it is just about being big. Having enough dude to climb and cuddle is pretty much perfect, in my book. *grin*
  3. Downsides of legalization?

Yep, that's my biggest worry as well...if legalized there's too much of a chance that the subsequent regulations would just be used to further marginalize the parts of our community (undocumented, survival, street-based, etc) who are already under the highest amount of strain. Additionally, legislation/regulations often serve to perpetuate stigma - if someone has to get registered to legally work then what happens when later they want to work an office job and that shows up in their work history? And mandated testing just encourages the prevalent myth that we're somehow vectors of disease, not to mention that if they start restricting where we can work (still due to stigma about exposing children to sin) then that'll effectively evolve red light districts. *sigh* I could go on, but I can't help but believe the only good solution to the current mess is decriminalization and keeping both police and legislature out of our intimate business.
  4. What's Must-See in Mile-High City?

Strange question, perhaps, but as an out of towner I'm curious...what's your local favorite that it would be a sin to miss? I'm open to suggestions on sweet little restaurants, must-see museums and anywhere that I'm not going to have to parallel park to get in. Hit me with your best shots - I want to experience the city that the locals love during my limited time in town. *grin*
  5. Funny story that...I've actually had the dubious pleasure of riding shotgun in an ambulance with a client to the hospital (long story short, I knew more about him medically than anyone else there) after another lovely lady had to give him mouth to mouth. Not my favourite way to spend an evening, but it did make those basic first aid courses feel worthwhile. I'm hoping to go back for EMS/EMT training at some point because with the amount of delightfully aged gentlemen I've met, well, at some point I'm sure someone's going to have a heart attack instead of just threatening to...and I'd like to be able to keep them alive long enough for the EMT walk of shame to happen. *laughs*
