Pretty simple: 1. Answer the phone 2. Return calls within a reasonable time 3. Show up when you say you will be there 4. Cheerful friendly attitude. Haven't found her yet. Still looking but my experiences over the past several years have not given me much hope.

Down south here in Pueblo there is very little going on, and the selection is slim with disappointment the usual result. Colorado Springs offers more options, but not much better overall. Denver is 4 hours round trip, not something that can be done to scratch an occasional itch. I was spoiled for 7 years, nice steady thing with a great lady, two or three visits per month. Then her life led her on another path and I have been missing the good times. Looked into the SB thing. A world of totally unrealistic expectations from what I have seen. The occasional need to escape reality seems to lead directly to conflict with reality.

Had a great connection with a lady for 7 years, then she moved away and married. Financial, certainly, but also a very pleasant personal relationship without the usual crap that can ruin any good thing. I still receive the occasional email and I send e-cards on holidays and birthdays. I am happy she has done well, but I have yet to find another like her to share time with. If anything, I was probably spoiled by one very good experience that is unlikely to be repeated. I continue to hope, but most of my recent experiences have been less than what I would like to have.

Effective immediately, anyone selling organic foods in Colorado is prohibited from washing the dirt off prior to sale. Anyone serving organic foods in a public place must wear unattractive clothing and braid the hair in her armpits.

I'm sure there are a lot of flaky guys. I'm also sure there are quite a few flaky providers. Very little action around where I live so I am usually driving to the next larger city, 40 to 50 miles each way depending on which part of the city. About 2 hours round-trip, so I always go for a confirmed appointment time before doing the driving. It seems to make very little difference. At least half the time I end up at the location provided but no response to phone or text from the provider. Appointment times seem to mean little to a lot of providers, not unusual to be stuck sitting in a parking lot a half hour past the appointment time. I will wait 10 or 15 minutes for a return call, but after that I am gone. Another repeated gripe, providers who do not respond to messages (text or phone). Maybe worse, some reply a half-day or more later. My personal record was a text 3 weeks after I tried to set up an appointment.

I'm not sure there is a protocol as such. Some providers want pre-bookings, some expect you to show up in 15 minutes. Some answer their phones, many do not. Some return phone calls, many do not. Text messages might get a reply, many do not, and I've had responses up to 3 weeks later acting as if I have wasted her time. I have been on time for appointments, then expected to sit around a parking lot for a half hour or more. Of course there seem to be ghosts who set up appointments and disappear without a word. TOB providers tend to be among the best, but there are a few space cadets around here too. Ladies, there is a definite opportunity for those who are responsive to customer needs and schedules. It may be a hobby for guys but it needs to be a business for the providers.

In my experience only about one in ten will respond to any call or text. Even those who reply seem to have no real commitment to following through with an agreed appointment time. Hooking up with a new provider for the first time is a real hit or miss thing these days. I have driven an hour or more to make an appointment, then been ghosted or ignored. It can be frustrating. Maybe I became spoiled. I saw the same young lady a couple of times per month for 7 years, always a great time, then she decided to get married and moved away. I still receive emails every now and then, and I wish her all the best in life. That was 11 years ago and I'm still hoping to make another really good connection. Maybe a few ladies will read this and recognize the potential opportunities for a provider who tries to build a solid business relationship.

Now in the 4th week of staying at home, social distancing, self isolating, self quarantine, whatever we are calling it this week. Lots of time to think about life, human history, world events, and so forth. I recall a story about a man who stayed in his house for five years, with 3 of his wives, and a bunch of children. Now that I have had time to think about it I am pretty sure that Osama Bin Laden called the Seal team himself.

After about 7 decades of life as a fine, upright, handsome example of American manhood I have grown accustomed to female attention and the occasional approach by attractive younger ladies. That is my story, anyway, and I will stick to it. Yesterday, while walking from the store to my car I was approached in the parking lot by a lovely young woman. She wasted no time at all, asking if I might be interested in trading with her, sex for toilet paper. I said "Maybe. What kind of toilet paper do you have?"
