FT won’t prevent LEO from booking either. IMHO the only reliable screening is peer review. For the YL that basically means references from other YL you trust. For the gents that means reviews by other gents you trust* or recommendations from YL you trust** (*) How do gents establish trust? If their reviews align with my experience with a YL, I expect my experience with a YL I haven’t seen to be similar to theirs. (**) Yes, I’ve had YL suggest that I might have a good time with a friend, only to find out that they were spot on!

Last week the State Dept. put Reynosa on a ‘do not travel’ list. I live 10mi from Reynosa!😱 In the 9 years I’ve lived in the RGV I’ve never been there. Told that both it & Matamoros were too dangerous. We cross into Nuevo Progresso for shopping, pharmaceuticals, and dental work. A small section of town (about 6-8 blocks) are considered safe due to a ‘treaty’ with the cartels. BTW, the strip clubs do have back room facilities. Last time I checked it was about 1/2 US rates.

Time to chime in here.🥴 For the TLDR crowd: T.O. was a consumer, not a provider. Back in the previous century escort advertising took several forms: print media (WestWord, Yellow Pages), online (newsgroups like alt.sex.*, Heaven or Hell, Craig’s List, Decadent City), and direct presentation (Colfax Ave). There were a few agencies online (Octapussy by our very own Gina38DD), and a local discussion group SoWet run by RagTop. We even used pay phones to get final directions for appointments. SoWet also had an advertising section and hosted meet&greets. As I recall WestWord also hosted a few meet&greets. The one WestWord party I attended was a sausage fest. RagTop’s parties always had a mix. But RagTop being RagTop, he pissed off more than a few folks. The discussion group turned into a flame war, with people getting banned left & right. The aforementioned Gina started Escort Boards, an advertising venue. Bear created his board with both advertising & discussion. And T.O. (most definitely a consumer, not a provider) started a discussion board as a refugee camp. Bear’s Board hosted a few meet&greets which were a good mix of customers & providers, including the legendary Halloween Parties. On TOB a group of providers formed the Passion Pussycats, who invited select tomcats to meet&greets and their legendary Super Bowl parties. Eventually TOB and Escort Boards merged, RagTop crossed a swords with law enforcement, Bear faded into the woodwork, and Gina moved back to Canada and created P411. This is actually TOB 4.0 😱, maybe even 5.0. But it is 2.0 under The Whisperer’s leadership. One of the early versions wiped out the membership list, hence the “August 31, 2007” joined date for many of us old timers. For the TLDNR crowd: Don’t worry about the price of gas. Watch the price of diesel fuel. — Here in the RGV the price of diesel shot up $0.25 this weekend to $4.80/gal. I worry more about diesel than gasoline because diesel is used to bring my EVERYTHING, and haul away my trash. Back in ‘99 when I bought my first diesel pickup, diesel fuel was about 10cents BELOW regular gas. They figured 80,000mi was the break even point for the upgrade. But then came the high prices of 2001 when gas approached $4.00/gal. People bitched!!! So the oil companies got folks off their backs by lowering the price of gas back below $3.00. But they also raised the price of diesel to 10cents above premium. This sleight of hand was quite profitable. Diesel hauls you jeans, groceries, 2x4s, trash, … the list goes on. The people were pleased that gas was cheap, but didn’t notice that everything else cost 5-10% more. (Our HOA waste management contract had a 5% surcharge for diesel.)

I found over the years that being a reliable, repeat customer can lead to something close to an FWB. Yes, it’s still a transaction, but over time as you get to know each other the relationship becomes more comfortable.

There is a big difference between Denver, NYC, & DC and CoSprings, Denver, & FtCollins, as base locations. Some ladies list all three CO locations as they can service appointments w/in a few hours.

I started this thread to point out the dangerous overreaction(s) of society and the consequences for those who had no personal affiliation with Epstein. Straight question: Do you believe the Malakoff school board’s actions were justified? Should the school photographer in a town of 2,200 lose their contract? BTW: The Brownsville ISD has taken similar action. How many other districts? IDK

The fallout of the Epstein document release has begun. The other day Whoopie was defending herself on The View because her name appeared in the document dump. It seems someone dropped her name in an mail requesting the use of Jeffery’s jet for some charity. The witch trials are continuing here in TX and elsewhere. Malakoff ISD cancels photo contract The contract was cancelled because the CEO of the conglomerate owning the portrait firm happened to appear in the Epstein dump. Granted it was about 9000 times in the millions of documents released. The real catch is that the conglomerate bought the photo company one month AFTER Epstein’s untimely demise. Keep in mind that in addition to everything else Epstein was a high finance advisor. Don’t get me wrong - Epstein was a sleeve & a perv, as were some of his clients. But how many legitimate business associates are going to be smeared with his filth? The employees of this national portrait firm do not deserve this.

Thank you for the link. I stand corrected. Please bear in mind that not everyone associated with Epstein participated in his sexual activities. Remember that he associated with the upper strata of the financial world and was at one time a trusted financial advisor. Also we should prosecute individuals, NOT corporations. Otherwise there will be massive collateral damage as these individuals are at the top of the food chain.

School districts across TX are canceling their contracts with Lifetouch, the photography giant providing school portraits across the country because the CEO of the holding firm was involved with Epstein. The holding firm purchased the photo company after Epstein’s demise. What happens to the local employees who had absolutely nothing to do with Epstein? Do we punish ag agents and ATC for the dalliances of their CEO? This is my problem with the cancel culture, whether it be L or R boycotting. Did the crew on the production line or the delivery drivers need to suffer because some ad exec thought it a good idea to have a trans sponsor a lite beer? BTW: I have yet to hear any allegation of Epstein involving single digit age groups.

I agree that more should go to prison if the allegations hold up. But does that also mean the county ag agents and air traffic controllers should get laid off because their CEO got a hummer from an intern? Or that most PCs should be trashed because they run Microsoft? That’s the dunking stool I’m worried about.
