  1. Kona Blue declassified.

The government double/triple speak was quite strong in the linked materials. It had the obfuscating characteristics of an artist statement. And we get all this for a mere $100M+?
  2. Irish Whiskey/ Maybe some fun?

I’ve enjoyed 2 Gingers and Sexton (blue bottle) lately. Tulamore Dew & Redbreast are also favorites. For Welsh whiskey, look for Rhiannon. I’ve also been quaffing some Balcones Single Malt whisky from Waco, TX. It’s young (2 years) and cask strength (53%). For those Outlander fans who might be tempted by Sam Heughan’s The Sassanach, save your money unless you collect fancy bottles.
  3. Buc-Ees

Take a boat tour of the River Walk. The new Alamo museum is fairly impressive. But be sure to check out the other missions. They, particularly San Juan, are more like the Alamo was during the revolution. They are a National Historic Park. Also check out the Mi Tierra Cafe y Panaderia for breakfast. The last time I was in San Antonio I stayed at the Menger Hotel, opened in 1859.
  4. Buc-Ees

Buc-ee’s kolachii are OK, but I like the ones from Slovacek in West, TX better (yes, that’s a town). Great sausage too. Be prepared to stand in line. 😁
  5. Buc-Ees

While not up to the standards of many restaurant burgers. IMHO they are the best fast food chain burgers. Next best would be Carl’s. McD, BK, & Wendy’s are left in the dust in this race. Yes, I’ve had In-n-Out, Freddy’s, and Culver’s as well. White Castle & Krystal’s sliders are just a different category. Bob appetite. 😁
  6. Buc-Ees

Buc-ee’s! 😱😁 Yes, another great idea from TX. As they say, EVERYTHING is bigger in Texas. Now wait until What-a-Burger shows up in town 🤪 —- Kudos and good karma for the Gpa time.
  7. manzilian (pube-less)

Fellas, if you want an inexpensive Brazilian, check out a local beauty school. In addition to the instructor you get a few young, nubile students in attendance. Talk about modesty issues! 😱
  8. Worldwide Economic Slowdown

I don’t believe in prosecuting protesters, but I do believe in prosecuting rioters, looters, and arsonists. If the shoe fits, …
  9. Worldwide Economic Slowdown

The thrust of my post was the echo chambers of the Internet, of all strips. Perhaps I should have included Q’anon for balance.
  10. Worldwide Economic Slowdown

    😱🤪🤣😘
  11. Worldwide Economic Slowdown

Social media may create echo chambers, but so did the coffee houses of the 18th & 19th centuries. The difference is the geographic dispersion. Getting the group of loners to coalesce for an event is difficult. This dispersion is also one of the difficulties of prosecuting the flash mobs of Antifa & BLM.
  12. Simultaneously funny and disturbing

I still remember one of the more popular ladies of the ‘90s giving directions to her next customer while riding me.
  13. Deposits

Including ‘in person’ cash drop off, which I have done for special events (Super Bowl, Halloween, …)
  14. Deposits

Area codes have little bearing these days. I’ve been n the RGV for about 5yrs now. Still have my 303 cell phone as my only phone number, as does my partner.
  15. Kate Rover

2 hours? Or two more visits.
  16. Who's snowed in??

Ha! It’s cloudy and 74 at 9:00 today. 94 & sunny expected this afternoon here in S.TX. 😝 There may be a lack of poontang on STG in the RGV (although there are brothels just across the river) but we have plenty of warm, sunny days.
  17. Avoiding attention at a hotel

That sounds like the old ‘two foot’ rule in the lounges of college dorms.
  18. Happy Birthday Gr8owl!

I identify with the “move slower” part. As for “less time”, remember when that trip was 10% of our lives? Now it’s <2%, and shrinking. ☹️
  19. Happy Birthday Gr8owl!

Congrats. These trips around the sun get more difficult each year.
  20. Skip the games

Not exactly, but some days it looks that way. But ‘2/1” referred to the ratio of trans vs females posting. We have a VERY small market here in the RGV, ~0.9 million in Hidalgo county.
  21. Skip the games

Not sure about CO, but here in the valley STG is about 2/1 trans/female.
  22. Skip the games

Or TOB has a small footprint in the user’s locale. As for other boards being more ‘sketchy’ than TOB, that’s because TOB does part of a client’s screening prior to permitting ads to be placed. The reviews also enhance a client’s screening process.
  23. Aurora Providers?

As large as the Denver metro area is, many would still be willing to visit your Aurora hotel. Aurora is fairly central on a N-S line, but quite a haul from some of the western burbs. Regarding screening, I can only echo ILW’s remarks.
  24. Boyz, tell us about someone you miss!

And yet they still spark fond memories 😁
  25. Boyz, tell us about someone you miss!

Speaking of CoS, who remembers: Kodi Jennifer (Wicked Surrender) Gina
